Spotlight On: Stillettoheights and Ellembee

It’s been so long since I’ve done a spotlight piece that this month, I’m showering you with two!

I have a passion for vivid colors and romantic art. I was therefore delighted to find Stilettoheights’ storefront on Etsy. Run by the amazingly talented Jennifer Gordon, the shop offers unique mixed media collage art, prints, and cards. I could go on, but instead, I’ll let the stunning visuals do the talking:

When I get home to Maryland, I will certainly be snatching up some of these pieces to decorate my studio. I hope her buy one, get one free sale is still on then! In the meanwhile, you can find me sighing over her beautiful blog.

I recently bought two shirts from Lisa’s handprinted clothing shop Ellembee. Her designs are simple, but never plain! The design that goes into each shirt is so beautiful that I wanted them all. One of the shirts I picked up is this floral tank in a very springlike shade of celadon green:

In person, the design is exquisitely done, the colors true to depiction, and the 98% cotton/ 2% spandex blend very soft to the touch.

To my delight, she also has a range of long-sleeved shirts as well, so I can look stylish as the weather gets chilly in the fall. Given Lisa’s exceptional customer service, I’m sure to be a repeat customer.
